You can win one of ten
family tickets to visit this year's East of England Autumn
Show on Sunday 14th October
2007
in our prize draw.
A family ticket will admit 2 adults and up to 2 children (5-16 years)
and is valued at £14.00.
Organised by the East of England
Agricultural Society, visitors to the show can expect to see
hundreds of animals of all shapes and sizes, from small livestock
exhibits including mice and fancy rats to special displays of rare
and endangered breeds. New for this year is a fascinating display of
exotic reptiles.
There will be many displays of
traditional country life, including country crafts, as well as large
animal exhibits. Magnificent Shire horses, incorporated as part of
the Wisbech Shire Horse Show, will be dressed in their traditional
glory. There will also be the chance to see Pony Club show jumping
competitions, donkey driving, harness goat and alpaca displays.
For those who prefer their animals with
a bark, there will be plenty of dog displays and classes including
‘Scrufts’ (the Kennel Club’s search for the crossbreed of the year)
and the final of the Burgess Supa Dog Agility Stakes.
