A series of dedicated homing afternoons will continue to be held by Peterborough Cats Protection throughout the autumn.

Pam McNicol, publicity officer, said “Sundays have proved a popular time for people to come along and see all the cats and kittens that are ready to go. We will carry on holding them most weekends as they have proved to be an excellent way of matching cats to new owners.

“Once a potential match is made the adoptees may then be subject to a home visit. The next adoption day will be held on Sunday 4 November between 11 and 1pm at 137 Medeswell, Orton Malborne, Peterborough.

Pam continued “Anyone adopting from Cats Protection can be assured that as far as we can tell they are homing a healthy animal. All cats and kittens will have received a health check by a vet, be treated for fleas and worms, and have had at least their first vaccination.”

To help cover some of our costs we suggest a minimum donation of £50 for an adult cat and £40 for a kitten. Anyone who would like further information is asked to call the homing officer on 01733 243187.
