Bag a bargain at library sale

Peterborough's Central Library is holding a sale of withdrawn stock on Saturday 28 April with hundreds of items being sold off.

Bargain hunters can look forward to a large selection of books on sale, including fiction and non-fiction titles, children's picture books and story books, as well as CDs, DVDs and videos.

The sale is being held between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm.

Customers are advised to come early as some categories of the sale stock are limited.

Pete Aldridge, a member of the reader services team at Central Library, said: "We have hundreds of items for sale to suit all ages and tastes. It is an excellent opportunity for visitors to bag themselves a bargain and at the same time check out what else is on offer at Central Library."

Books will be priced at £2.50 per carrier bag, provided by the library, while CDs and videos will cost £1 each, and DVDs will cost £2.
